For as long as beer has existed, the laborers and field hands were given three liters of their extremely local beer as a part of a day’s work. The beer was safer to drink than the water, and kept the locals in good health to work hard. We offer our beer to those who work hard and those who play hard in our fields, mountains, and rivers.
From different directions, on wayfaring routes, our owners and advocates met up where the mountains meet the skies, where the rubber meets the trail, and where old-fashioned endeavors for quality are still cultivated. Our bevy came together in the Colorado High Country with the common goal of making heartfelt beers where we want to enjoy them.
Snowmelt water, high altitude, locally grown hops and barley paired with nature’s patience and mountain town stick-to-itiveness are put into every pint. The brewery, located in the heart of downtown Salida, is full of area maps, reclaimed materials, capricious laughter; and is where we call basecamp. We come together to source the best ingredients, to serve the most deserving thirsts. We taste the results, then do it again.
We are uphillers, downhillers, powderhounds, river rats, and dirtbags, in all the right ways. Come to recharge and to resupply, because we are here to mutually reinvigorate all at Tres Litros Beer Co. We encourage you to come in for a respite from the elements and for some tasty suds to wash them down. Let us know what you are out there doing well, and let us know what we’re doing right.
Mission Statement:
At Tres Litros Beer Co. we strive to provide thoughtfully crafted beers and community enrichment. Through local reinvestment, eco-conscious sustainability, and cultural and environmental support, we aim to make lasting improvements in the town of Salida and the surrounding outdoors. We provide engaging beers in a setting designed for appreciation and comradery for those who work hard and play hard. This is our labor – for our own tres litros.
